MVU and Edgenuity
For several years, South Haven Public Schools has been offering students the opportunity to take virtual/online courses through Michigan Virtual University (MVU) and Edgenuity. Our experience with both of these programs has been good for our schools. These programs offer many classes which are aligned to the Michigan Merit Curriculum (MMC). Please review the Parent Letter which will provide you with more details.

If you have questions regarding virtual/online courses, please call your building principal or your student's counselor.
Requesting virtual/online course(s)
Please be advised that students may request up to 2 virtual/online courses per semester. All virtual/online courses for both semester 1 and semester 2 of a school year are requested during the scheduling time window. No virtual/online course applications will be accepted after the stated time window deadline. Completing the application process does not guarantee that online courses will be approved.
Counselors may place students in virtual/online classes due to overfilled live classes or because of the credit recovery needs of the student.
