Lory's Place Grief Group

Lory's Place, a non-profit counseling center, is scheduled for monthly meetings for students experiencing grief over the death of someone you loved. If you or someone you know has experienced death, we encourage you or your friend to join this group. All people, regardless of age, experience death. But, people who are brave enough to deal with the healing process (called mourning or grief), gain the skills to tackle their emotions.

This group is voluntary, but a permission slip is required to attend. As difficult as it is, this group will be a safe and confidential place where discussions and activities will happen to deal with grief.

The group will meet the 3rd Thursday of each month at
12:25 - 1:20 pm starting Dec. 17

Permission slips are located with your school counselor or here- parent letter w/permission slip

Please turn the permission slip in directly to your counselor.

*If you don't want to join the group, you may also speak to your school counselor.
